Our restoration service includes the replacement of damaged floorboards and parquet wood blocks, where possible we source reclaimed boards or blocks to match the existing colour of the originals.

Floor Staining

We offer a variety of stains to compliment your décor. If you are considering installing a new hardwood floor and are on a tight budget, although not the same it will work out more affordable to install a new pine tongue and groove floor and choose a floor stain of your choice of colour.

Floor Sealing

To enhance the natural beauty of wood we use a range of hard wearing, environmentally friendly & durable floor sealants with Matt, Satin & Gloss finishes.

Wood Floor Restoration

Wood floor restoration involves a lot more work than Sanding Floorboards and therefore should not be confused as a floor sanding project which is only a mere part of a wood floor restoration project.

Wood Effect Laminate Floors

Wood Effect Laminate Floors are usually a print of a piece of wood bonded onto a board made of HDF (High Density Fibreboard).  These are very hard, scratch resistant and tend to be a more cost effective option than a real wood floor.  If you want, you can even have your own picture reproduced and have a floor that is totally unique!

Engineered Hardwood Floors:

Engineered Wood Flooring is made entirely of wood, and comprises a number of layers which are glued together, each layer in opposing directions making the board extremely stable.  Engineered wood floors are available in many thicknesses, from 10mm through to over 22mm all with a real wood wear layer of differing widths.  Most engineered floors can be re-sanded and finished several times – in the exact same way that a solid hardwood floor can be.
Engineered floors are particularly suitable over Under Floor Heating.

Solid Hardwood Floors:

Solid Hardwood Flooring is one piece of wood from the same tree.  It is solid from top to bottom and side to side.  Being solid means that it will normally need to be nailed or glued down, which is why it can be a bit more problematic than an engineered option.
You can choose from whatever mother nature has given us!  Oak, Walnut, Maple, Ash, Beech, Wenge, Panga Panga, Birch, Pine, Merbau, Iroko…….. and many many more!
